Please try to stop being stupid. You don't put a 30 year old tram back up after not using it for 20 years. That's just dumb. It was taken out for a reason!

MMSA has already said they plan to install a new gondola of some type in the next couple of years.

It might not be as hard as you think as I think some chairs at June are at least 30 years old to so it should be fine if they maintain it well unlike before. They still have the parts of it and can collect the other cabins that aren't at mammoth now and it would probably be cheaper. thanks bye

^ I keep reading your posts and think I've got it figured out now. You're in grade 7, right.

You're insulting 7th graders realme.

SlurnSnowbored, they really didn't say a gondola of some type. I think they mentioned a high speed chair OR a "gondola of some sort."

I know they haven't said exactly what will be built but I'm making an assumption that it will have to be a gondola or chondola in order to fulfill the stated plan to make it a "learn to ski" mountain for families. Simply installing a high speed chair wouldn't be wise IMO.

A Chondola, or Gondola would be the best option for a base area lift, especially for "comfortable" downloading of kids and beginners at the end of the day.

skittlebrain, Yan is out of biz and they don't make those towers anymore. Or parts for them. All the ones that were at June are on the bottom of the lake. If you want to fish them out of there and give them back to Dave June might have a chance. But you still have to find at least 10 trams to make if viable. And you have to replace all the rusted parts. Haha get it? Rusted.
