they do not need the wells as they have that lake right there and this is a waste of money that could be used to put dave's tram back up or the gondola chairlift combo thing they have mentioned do that instead of these wells and just use the lake. save the ground water for emergencies. these are just my thoughts and advice as my family is familiar with these sorts of issues. thanks bye

ILS, if you and your family are familiar with these issues then you would know that it is not feasible to pump the water from the lake up the hill to make snow up there. They need to find it up there.

Maybe you should go out and find Dave's trams so they can put them back up.

I'm curious why isn't it feasible? At mh they pump from several wells, one is at the base of East and they pump it to the top. 1,600 vertical feet.

Is it that DWP says no?

That plus the cost of getting it set up. Forest service issues also. There's water up there and they will find it.

The water runs from June to Gull to Silver to Grant and then gets split up between LADWP and Mono Lake.

How about water from Yost or Fern or Agnew or Gem lakes? They wouldn't have to pump the water uphill and could just drain those lakes and let all the fish die...
