Last year's snow portion of the festival was cancelled due to lack of snow, but they managed to have some dry land fun. This year's takes place tomorrow from 9-4. Snow Stroll along Main Street to view the snow sculpture competition, a snowmobile rally and triathlon. Hoping to get up there to view the amazing sculptures in the morning then get the patient back here for PT in the afternoon.

Drove up to June this morning. While the snow stroll portion of the event was quite a disappointment (only two snow sculptures [JLB's] out of the 6 huge blocks of snow in the back June Mtn. parking lot - no snow in the village) it was a lovely day for a drive. Stopped at Trout Town Joes for a cup first and reconnected with an old high school classmate who now owns the place...small world...it made my day!! Waited until noon and enjoyed Ohanas 395 Honolulu Fried Noodles with chicken for $8.00 and even brought some home for later. When I got home I took a nice, long power walk and enjoyed watching the lenticulars roll in. Gorgeous day, but we need snow!
