Day 1 Wild on Wednesday. Haven't skied in two years and haven't done June in four. Thought I'd be a little wild at first but the groove came back. Screamer orange jacket with the flamed helmet. Skis Rossi Phantom 74 168cm.

Day 2 Throwback Thursday. Two reasons, the guy that took my avatar photo was asked by OGT what he thought of my skiing. He said "not bad for old school". I guess I'm good making new skis do old things. The other was CyberK and the Olin ski post in Equipment. I skied the Olin Mark V ( 200/203 cm) for four runs off of J2. PE395 was right. They have about a 21m turning radius. That's minutes not meters. So after wedgeboy here got control of them, I could stem christie them then tail-slide into some linked turns. My opinion, throw em back in the garage. Gimme something with a waistline.
Tomorrow, What the? Friday. Wadaya mean Roxy isn't French for rock ski? they're all waxed up with no place to go (my wife's 163 cm). Besides, they really look good with my black, blue, turquoise and purple jacket. SL's favorite.

Rock ski was a joke and NOT a reflection of the conditions at June Mt. Conditions today were almost spring-like with the temp at the top of J7 about 48. No ice in the morning but not slushy in the afternoon. Grooming Crew rocks here.
You could say that conditions on Schatzi and Deer Bowl were lapable.

Day 3 What the? Friday. Tried the Roxys today. Took em for five runs and I can understand why my wife loves them. The binding mounting position is a bit different because they're girlie skis. A little short for me. Still, I went back to my Phantoms. Great spring skiing conditions today.
Hey Carl, thanks for making sure that June still Sux ;)
