He was my hero. :inlove: If you haven't read his biography book "Freedom Found", get it and read it. A very enlightening story of his life with stories you've never heard before. He will be missed by the skiing world. :cry:

This was how he signed off when he used to narrate his earlier movies in auditoriums around the country:

Definitely a legend. In case anyone here didn't already know...Warren Miller shot the classic pic of Dave McCoy skiing in his white t-shirt that's in McCoy Station (and several other spots).

my wife has a story where she sat with warren and dave as they talked story at a fundraiser

i'm afraid for this industry without these two men

maybe fear isn't the right word

I think i only have one of his videos, a DVD. I need to get more. I have seen other films of his, i always loved the follies, people falling off lifts etc, he was so funny about it all....he will be missed.
