Wondering how much snow is down by the Mammoth Museum at the Hayden Cabin after all our JanuBURY storms? These fabulous photos were taken courtesy of Mammoth Museum's friend Tripcentrum Robo Lukac on 1/28/17. WOW!!!! Can't wait to cross country ski out there soon to see first-hand!

Nearly a month later (from the 1/31 photos by Robo above), I xc skied out to the Hayden Cabin yesterday (2/25/17). My-oh-my there's a LOT of snow out there. I was standing at approximately roof level in the front and at eave level in the back. It's interesting to see how the wind forms the various sizes and shapes of snow drifts around the cabin. The only prints I saw were a winter hare's and faint snowshoe tracks from when our President of the historical society Robert and his wife Sue were out there two weeks ago. The views were glorious!
