How fun is this event and where is the best place to find cheap lodging? I tried to get a campsite at Lake Mary and they were gone in about 2 minutes...

It's fun if it's not raining or smoky. I go every year for the music. Best music is usually Friday night and Sunday afternoon, but check the schedule.

Lake Mary always fills up. Try Twin Lakes, Coldwater, Shady Rest or Sherwin Campground. Will be lots of bugs this year so Shady Rest or sherwin may be better than up by the lakes. A condo rented with others is always the cheapest lodging except for camping.

THIS TICKET IS NOW GONE. THANKS.

I have one two-day Friday/Saturday ticket I can't use - this includes the beer tasting on Saturday.
I bought it during the presale last December when the price was $110. With fees it cost me $122.50.
It would cost you $152.50 today from the website - http://mammothbluesbrewsfest.com/

I've been in years past - and always have fun.
If you're interested in the ticket for $122.50, we can do paypal and email (it's a pdf print-at-home that you swap for a wristband at the event), or we can meet in Pasadena (home) or downtown LA (work) for exchange.

I may have two Saturday eve tix as well (no beer and 5:30pm entry) - but not sure yet...

Shoot me an email at if you're interested.

Been going for several years. Always a lot of fun. Music Thursday through Sunday. Doesn't hurt if you like beer either.

It's a soggy Bluesa. At least there's no lightning...yet. Temps have plummeted to 62!
