Will repost for you: Buckin Bundles Firewood 760-933-2470

Gary Mull and Paul Beaudean Gary lives in Bishop, his wood lot is in Benton, and they deliver most everywhere. If it is a long way, like out into Nevada, they will deliver for a fee. He also has a mobile wood splitter he will bring out and either let you use it or split it for you. It is cheaper for three cords. Good luck!

I just don't see how there could be a better wood deal at this time. To think that they stacked that on the second floor amazes me.

What a bonus for people who may not be able to physically stack the wood. They will also split and stack on site if you have a bunch of large rounds.

Gary also said he would bring any size split wood you want. Like if you have a large stove and want larger pieces.

We are on the second floor as well, up 2 flights of stairs. We have stacked wood ourselves a few times, and I can tell you they did a much better and faster job than we ever could, and did not charge much extra for the service.

How do they do it? Do they toss it up or have to carry it up the stairs?

I remember how Val Detling from Mammoth Firewood had a conveyor on the truck that his guys used to get wood up to the upper floors. It was nifty and quick, because he was doing all the condos in town.

Mammoth Trivia: Who was the first guy to make a million dollars off firewood and snow removal in town?

Val

Two of my roomates worked for Val. We used his equipment to get our wood. Sweet deal.

I just had a half cord of lodgepole delivered by Buckin' to my second floor condo the other day. They pulled their truck into my complex's common area as far as they could before losing traction, stretchered it to just below my balcony and then tossed it up two logs at a time. Pretty amazing how the guy doing the tossing would "float" them up and keep the two logs together to make for easy pickin's for the catcher/stacker. My seven-year old who just recently got into football and is struggling with the finer points of catching watched in awe.

That is a lot of nice looking wood! Early bird gets the worm. We bring ours up from SD because we can usually score on wood around here and it's high quality. then we bring a moderate amount up each time in the truck and shunt it to the garage. It goes upstairs in a trash can on a dolly - works best for us old folks and we can take our time. We can also do that mid-winter if needed.
