I baked tilapia with panko yesterday, first time evah. Easy and delish!

This mayo thing is bigger than I thought. One of my friends brought it up unprompted. She said, "it must be a guy thing".

In my enthused state the other day I went looking for swordfish and had major sticker shock so that project is on the back burner so to speak for now.

Who knew Mayo was good on almost everything, just like bacon.
I like Mayo on hot dogs with a spicy mustard and pickles.

Edited: because I posted a tasty rib dinner picture in mayo thread. :D

Carry on Mayo..fans. :geek: :geek:

a thin layer of cream cheese makes grilled cheese sandwiches gooey and delicious

anyone else do that?

edit: with cheddar cheese, of course

it gets extra melty somehow

^^^That's a good idea ; can never go wrong with cream cheese. Have used straight Brei and that was rather good.
Always do the the mayo on the exterior and use the Foreman Grill. I just may try mayo with some panko crumbs on the exterior of the "grilled"
cheesy wich. Too much crunch...?

Cashew Chicken. Boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into 1/2 to 3/4 inch pieces sauteed in peanut oil, then add a modest amount hoisin sauce ( I like alot of it ) with a small amount of water with corn starch. Add sliced water chestnuts cut into thirds then whole roasted unsalted cashews. Serve over jasmine rice.

We tried the mayo thing on salmon fillets the other night, then sprinkled with the panko. Grilled on the Q and it was delish! The hardest thing was cleaning the fish basket. We unknowingly made aioli spread when we did it. I still want to try it without the panko so I can flip the fish (we used salmon with the skin so no acrobatics) and create that crust.
