So speaking of...
My AUS friends have Brahman hump at the butcher regularly and a smoked hump roast seems quite good. Like wed treat a tritip. Marbled tender beef. Ive seen a lot of Brahma Bulls on pickups but Ive never heard of hump carne de res.

also googled for brahma hump in US and it seems totally scarce. i couldn't find a source, at least.

I guess this fits the thread.

If you're up before 2am Tuesday morning you might catch a launch from Vandenberg:

Nov. 14: A United Launch Alliance Delta 2 rocket will launch the first spacecraft in the Joint Polar Satellite System from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California at 4:47 a.m. EST

Tomorrow early morning (11/13) if you have a clear view of the eastern horizon, you'll be able to see Venus snuggling close to Jupiter.

Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. (Nov. 14, 2017) – The launch of a United Launch Alliance Delta II carrying the JPSS-1 mission for NASA and NOAA was scrubbed today due to a red range and a late launch vehicle alarm. Due to the short window there was insufficient time to fully coordinate a resolution.

The launch is planned for Wednesday, Nov. 15, from Space Launch Complex-2 at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. The launch time is 1:47 a.m. PT.

My friend just sent me a text about a meteor. I bet it was the same one. I saw a nice one early this morning waiting for the scrubbed launch.

Thanks 2NA for the heads up. That was sooo cool. All different aspects. Went outside just in time.

When I first came outside the burners just separated. First thought was two police helicopters with spotlights looking for something in smoke. From my vantage the whale cloud took up a good portion of the sky. Luckily looked at the clock at 5:30 and remembered...brain's still working.
