Last week some friends and I stopped by the Woodbridge Ecological Reserve and saw the Sandhill Cranes flying in at sunset. Pretty cool! We were in the open south part and not in the docent led north part but it was still impressive to see hundreds of cranes overhead.



We meant to visit the Cosumnes River Preserve 9 miles north but will do that later. Has anyone been, or have any other suggestions for Delta birdwatching or general Pacific Flyway spots?
