some of the criticism of the town and hill leadership likely didn't ingratiate the powers that be to the forum

i'm sure they loved suv rental and chain advice for lax arriving euro/uk visitors

but on balance, forum content could be perceived as a liability

It already happened with KSL/Squaw Valley last season. KSL now owns Mammoth. I would not expect them to keep this forum if people post negative information.

So we'll do our best to report accurate ski conditions with more specificity than the official site/app and leave the op-ed pieces for those who have greater insight and are willing to risk their ski passes.
So basically you guys are nothing more than a glorified snow report and won't actually be writing or posting about anything of substantial value to the community and those who don't want to see it go to #2?

Yep ,Me too.
Always enjoyed Rusty dropping in.Think about it, 1 forum member was crying about to much grooming so Rusty left a section of Facelift ungroomed just for him . Even posted a sign for it ,heh... Never going to see that again.

I got booted off because I tried to change my email. When you do that the software requires Admin approval and since we dont have that ability I got put into Purgatory. Luckily a forum benefactor had an extra account laying around and took pity on me.

I still go by Cheapski !!! I still post a lot of weather !!!

Gotcha note to self, dont change email. Also, jealous that OGT has that cool pic in his signature which is grandfathered in as the rest of us cant do that...so a dripping beer and vanishing pizza is good enough for me :)

look forward to your weather posts

Lot's of active posters in the Group... not so much the FB Page.

If this forum is dead just use Marks site that Tony refers you to. Some cool people over there.
