No idea why my login worked this morning (after not working for well over a year).

What did I miss?

Meadow Farms still has the best bacon and the sandwiches are good too...

Oh Yeah, Aspen bought Mammoth and it snowed a lot last year...

And multiple people are already hanging out in the net - #metoo

Safeway has Applewood smoked thick cut bacon on sale for $3.99 /lb in a 3lb pack. I went crazy.

Snowave, that is most odd. I haven't been able to log in either, and I just did.

Too bad the season isn't starting off with a bang, so I'd have a lot more to say before I get logged off again. Oh well...

some things never change, thankfully. 🥓

a foot of new snow this morning up the road at Wolf Creek... too bad its going to be dry and warm now for 2 weeks.

Otherwise, all is good here in SW Colorado! I'm now a cowboy living on a ranch, but still BBQ naked on occasion.

:)

I think I missed a few chapters of your life. The last I knew you were up in Idaho or something.

Ha - do you take your dog out riding with you and to herd the cows? :)

My kid turned cowboy too - after growing up with horses and never riding. Must be a new trend...

Cheaps.. We were in Montana for 2 years (after a year in Teton Valley, WY). Liked it, but not the gray winters and development/population explosion in the Flathead Valley . We moved to near Pagosa in May 16. Bought a house/ranch about 20 min south of town. 2 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats. Love it here!

Oldskier... Unfortunately, Merced the wonder dog finally passed away this year. He was almost 18. We got another dog a couple months ago and she is a Queensland Blue Heeler... but thankfully, she doesn't herd. :) We haven't taken her out riding with us yet, but she is getting close. She enjoys chasing the prairie dogs, however.

I have been doing some weather forecasting the last few years, including some local media sources. Currently I just have a facebook page here in Pagosa. (which I know several of you are facebook holdouts!)
