My friends were about an hour behind me and they got pics. Looks like they had sunk down a little deeper than when I saw them.

Thats a poster for why I dont support off roading in wilderness environments. The yahoos dont really care what damage they're causing in their insulated vehicles.

"4 wheel drive just let's you get stuck in more inaccessible locations". And makes for a very big bill for getting pulled out.

I worked a weighboat at the Heroes on the Water Mission Bay Classic Kayak Tournament on Sat where I met Coco.
Coco was paralysed early in life w the weiner dog spine issues that usu show later in their lives. She had low quality of life w no motivation to go outside or show any sign she needed to. Poor pitiful Coco. Tony (big guy walkin away) took it on himself to give Coco the extra she needed to get her motivated. Now she isnt "depressed" anymore. Gets around great on her wheels. Knows how to signal she needs outside and gets excited to go out kayak fishing w Tony. Go Coco.

Meet Chucko our camp host for 2 days out at Joshua Tree.

On the way back I spent the night at Whitewater preserve and did an early am hike the next day. Turned into an amazing hike. On the way in there were lots of Beavertail loaded up with buds but no open flowers, thinking to myself, wow these things are getting ready to pop! On the way out a couple of hours later over maybe a 2 mile stretch nearly every single plant was in the process of blooming, hundreds of flowers opening in a matter of hours. How do they do that??

Last of the Finch Family left the nest a couple days ago....they are hanging around here still. Small bodied and getting better at their flying/surviving skills.
Now off to college... :D
