I have a suggestion for MM, it would be nice to have basic first aid kits at the chairs specially ones which aren't closer to any of lodges.

This weekend which doing run on chair 9, i fell and the ski managed to cut through my glove and lacerate my thumb. It was tough for me to stop bleeding by just applying pressure so i decided to ski down to chair 9 and see if they had any first aid kit. Since there was no first aid kit there, they had to call ski patrol which gave me bandages to stop the bleeding.

It took about 5-10 mins for patrol to arrive but it would have been nice if there was a first aid kit at the chair so i could have taken care of the bleeding. for minor injuries i think it would be nice to have basic first aid kit at the lifts.

This isn't a very good idea at all. Mostly because people think their injuries aren't "that bad" sometimes and then add alcohol and things get even worse . Take some time, visit ski patrol, get it looked at...get bandage and give ski patrol a donation or beer. On top of that, it would cost WAY TOO much not only for all those extra supplies and insurance if someone's injury was worse than thought in our sue happy world!

You know what, that's a darn good idea (seriously no sarcasm here). At least bandaids . A few years ago I fell and ripped off my entire pinkie nail (whole thing gone, took 9 months to grow back, no kiddin') and had to ski down to get one lil' ol' bandaid. I for one will start carrying them.

Funny thing, the guys at first aid told me that happens all the time with girls and their nails. Now I trim 'em down nice and short before I ski. Not as purty, but way better looking than the nubbin I had for most of 2006.
