Hello,
So my wife and I are fairly good skiers, albeit rusty,as we haven't skied since our 12 yo daughter was a baby. Now we have a 7, and 9 YO daughter also. I like that the kids can ski at June Mtn for free, but which trails are currently open at June? Their June Mtn Ski Report is a couple of days old and not since today's 5" of fresh snow. What about Mammoth open trails, anyone???

Also, I don't know how current the info is about chains required to get to June Mtn. We are currently driving fine around Mammoth in our 2x2 Honda Pilot. Anybody know if most are using chains or 4x4 to get to June Mtn?

Thanks for any 411 you might have RE: 1) open beginner terrain. 2) ease of driving to June Mtn.

-Dan
