The little blue bags left for someone else to pick up drive me crazy. They went through the trouble to carry a bag and to pick it up but they can't be bothered with actually disposing it somewhere appropriate? What are they thinking? I guess the poop fairies come by in the dark of night and turn the blue bags into wildflowers. Another wonderful surprise I like are the cute little bundles left in parking lots by the people changing their kids diapers. I wish I could actually come across someone leaving one of these surprises behind and return the unwanted gift to their face.

Ever since I saw a lodge hen changing their kid's diaper on one of the tables at McCoy, I've been reluctant to eat up there.

12z total qpf for 240 hours. Deja vu

Image

Once again we're seeing pretty good run-to-run consistency in the GFS for next weekend's storm and in the 7 day qpf charts.

I'm going to estimate 40" for March snowfall but it could be double that if we get lucky. That would put us in range to set a new season snowfall record.

Could someone go back and plot how regular these AR periods have been coming this season? Are they fairly consistent cycles of stormy with a break? I'm just curious.

Wow! Unbelievable.
I suppose it may have been cleaner than some of the people that sit at the tables, but still it's unbelievable what some people do. I don't think I will be able to forget that image. I can hardly wait to share it with some friends as they are enjoying their meal at McCoy. :talk:

Rain...heard it start pounding our roof around 5:00 a.m. Not much open as the forecast is calling for possible thunder snow!

The silver lining is the pouring rain in town is washing my car clean...yay! :D

Edited 9:30ish: Starting to turn to snow in town now.

Had a lodge hen bring her baby to our table to change a diaper then the dirty b_ left the diaper on our table. I gave it back to her.

1.4" in the bucket since last night, not sure how much snow but I'd guess about 8 - 10" and still coming down.

I was really looking forward to getting out on the mountain and getting some powder this weekend since I've only gotten out on the mountain once in early December and again a week ago.
As of Sunday they were predicting a couple of feet plus of snow, now it's a couple of inches :@
very disappointing.
Should be plenty of great spring conditions this year but so far I am really disappointed in the way this epic winter has fizzled out since Feb. 22nd.

Hopefully the numbers will go up for this weekend.
