It's nice to finally see SL on a stick. Let's hope for lots more storminess in late February and all of March.

Thanks...it was fun to pull her out of the coat closet!

Hoping that March and April will be bigger snow months than the past few. It has happened before! I'd like to get in all the spring/summer skiing that I can before I can't do it any longer due to the restrictions for me personally of the IKON pass.

7day qpf showing some of the totals from the previous long range qpf. One of the best looking 7day qpf charts of the season.

Nice to see a little snow on the ground in town, it looks wintery for a change, certainly feels wintery.
Forecast was for mostly sunny this afternoon but it sure looks like were going to get some flurries this afternoon and evening. A few flakes are falling now. It sure would be nice if we got a couple of inches to freshen up the snow on the mountain.

Thursday still seems to be the big day. My table says Monday night the snow level goes down to 2500 ft!

12Z GFS - QPF for MM area comes out to 5.78" of water... models seem to be holding. Then in real fantasy land around 300 hour another 3 inches or so...

CNRFC 6 day qpf for Mammoth is about 2.5". If it stays relatively cold then that should easily be over 2ft of snow.

The Euro has that midweek storm lingering for a long time. Also at the 10 day its showing something that looks vaguely subtropical.

It was a gorgeous, chilly bluebird day today. Couldn't help but drive out to the meadow for this iconic shot. Clouds moving in over the Minarets now...bring it!

15° At Main Lodge so snow levels are pretty low!

Maybe an inch so far by Canyon Lodge.
