Thought I would revive this thread - might be relevant this weekend. Just drove up from Bishop. CHP doing chain control about halfway up the grade. Road was pretty well plowed. Not snowing currently. But blowing snow with near zero visibility at times around Crowley and the airport. Had to stop for a few seconds on the road until the gust died down in order to see. Will be interesting to see how the crowd makes it up tonight when the snow starts falling again. Hopefully the winds are less tonight. Be safe out there!

^ LOL! :D

Last Monday with very little snow on 203 coming down from Main Lodge around Sunshine Curve. Tesla with no chains slid out of control and rammed a MLPD rig who was on the side of the road assisting another vehicle without chains!

Then yesterday, this OHV yahoo was spotted in town. Those tracks are illegal on town roads.
