Yes the GFS performance is weak once again. False dreams and hope. Time for a nice long hike, kinda feels like summer outside again. :worried:

The longer range qpf is showing potential for several inches for Mammoth in the last week of November possibly picking up on the MJO signal. Way too early to get excited but worth watching.

Forecast changed and now calls for about 6" of snow for Mammoth. Looks like all the Sierra passes will be closed for at least a few days maybe longer.

Latest 72-hour qpf is looking good with potential for 2 to 3 feet. Snow leaves pretty low too. Looking forward to seeing some expert forecasts.
