The wind blew my gas grill over 6 feet to crash into my charcoal grill which now explains the cloud of ash I saw through the window.

..on channel Zzzz.
Woke up to a pool full of black ash on top, couldn't even see the bottom; that was black as well.
Getting tired of the Sand Fire Haboob, it's getting real old now.
Los Angeles County San Fernando Valley...
La Canada 66 MPH 1150 AM 12/02 1577
Malibu Cyn. 53 MPH 0156 PM 12/02 609
Porter Ranch 52 MPH 1010 AM 12/02 1633

Chilao still the winner at 83 mph..

In HB, it blew the cover off my hot tub. That's pretty strong for coastal OC. I unfortunately cannot provide wind measurements because while my wind cups were spinning, my station was not transmitting the data to my receiver and it was too windy to troubleshoot. I do estimate the gusts to be about 40 MPH based upon the noise they made ;-)
