Now Mammoth will get a 200 inch March, getting ready for the snowballs to your head from the locals.

Watch for limited operation starting on Saturday afternoon and possibly complete shut down or limited to ch8, 17, 15 on Sunday. This is going to be a windy system. Look at the 700mb model this will tell you how Ch1, and 22 will fare.

395 leaving town heading S might also be impacted all the way thru olancha on Sunday due to snow. GFS depicts what could happen around 4pm this sunday.

GFS has been the leading model with this weekend's storm w the euro package finally catching up in the last couple days to current QPF consensus amnts. Here's total snowfall look at the east valley.
Image

One blip in the "THAW" and weather returns to MILD lasts until mid month as the euro has backed off on a cycle that was to start around the 9th.
