But your username.... besides you should be loving the weather.

If you are watching the snow levels as close as we do, and you spent the day before in heavy wet slop, you would be skeptical about hitting the slopes again too! Anyway the passing cold front made it worthwhile 😎😎❄️

(But you are right, I love this weather!!!!)

Oh how I wish I was up there today. The mountain looks spectacular this morning and I would think that the crowds would be light today. To those of you that are able to take advantage of the conditions today, have fun and tear it up.

Looks like it's going to heat up quite a bit for the pond skim.

Sun! Nice to see after that series of wet storms and rain in town. The mountain looks pretty!

Patrol induced slides during avy control this morning. Good sized fracture lines.

I previously posted that it's a very long shot for breaking the snowfall record of 668.5". When I posted that I hadn't compared the current total to the same date in 2011. I just did and was surprised to see that we're currently 2" ahead of 2011. So it's definitely possible but will take a few more good storms to do it.

We're also about 30" ahead of the same date in 2011 for total precipitation. So over 40% more precipitation this year but only 2" more snow.

The 100" of precipitation is what is really amazing this year, and if I recall we didn't have much of a monsoon season this last summer. I wish the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mnts. could have picked up that kind of snow pack this year, that would be something to see.

Where are you able to access snowfall totals by date? I'm curious to see the breakdown of this winter on a day to day basis.

A little? Not quite full white out conditions but close at times. Hopefully the clouds lift this afternoon.

Winter aint over yet. Its snowing and blowing on the MM cams. Just cloudy over in the Bay Area though. Keeping that snowpack preserved longer.
