Just as forecast, the winds have picked up and are now blowing consistent mid 50mph with gusts to the mid 60s on top.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems that the 0z Euro delays the snow until late Sunday night and into Monday. Totals have stayed consistent with about a foot.

It also brings a little more snow late in the week and into next weekend.

Not much change in the 12z ECMWF. About a foot maybe a little less. Last night it looked like the qpf has almost doubled. NWS is consistent with about 8"of snow for Mammoth.

Shocker. All the last few days my precip forecast for Sunday was .22". Its now leaped to just over half an inch!

10,000 ft snow levels at the start though.

Looks like more than 8" of snow if this verifies.

...and nothing really south of Point Conception. Actually NWS says .01" for me Monday am.
Maybe my total might double....

I took my power walk the last two days in short sleeves. Weird weather on the hill. 49 degrees at Main Lodge at 9:50 this morning. Had to turn off our pellet stove very early the last three mornings because the condo was too warm.

^ We never even had a fire last night. It's 51 at our place in town at 9:20 a.m. Windy though.

Here's what I did yesterday in 62 degree weather. Nice hike checking out portions of two new trails out by the Sherwins.

Wow Reno bumped up snowfall total to 17-29". Looks wimpy on radar until it hits the Sierra.
