I thought yesterday was breezy today is a different wind story.
Currently Malibu foothills gusting to 74mph... it is offshore.

The fantasy GFS is showing something interesting. A breakthrough from Asia obliterating that persistent ridge off the coast from Feb. 11 onwards.

I was out whale watching yesterday off of Palos Verdes and the wind was truly warm...no chill in the air whatsoever.

Unfortunately the newer runs of the GFS will crush your dreams again. The ridge is still there.

And now its gone again. Hmmm. Best to keep watching the middle of the month.

I know you are all wondering what I'm smoking to believe in a 384 hour forecast. What I am seeing is that the ridge starts breaking down or moving along around Feb. 11th or so.

I don't care, keep it up. I know it's fantasy land but it helps me to go to sleep at night. Think happy thoughts and maybe I'll have dreams of thunderstorms and pouring rain with deep snow drifts in the mountains. |-) :rain: I'll deal with reality when I wake up in the morning. :shake: :doh:
