I only know a cheapski.

Rerun from the Socal thread.

And now its gone again. Hmmm. Best to keep watching the middle of the month.

I know you are all wondering what I'm smoking to believe in a 384 hour forecast. What I am seeing is that the ridge starts breaking down or moving along around Feb. 11th or so.

I'm watching what gets past the 140 degree longitude.

Lol, I saw that and thought it was some sort of inside joke that I was out of the loop on.
I like it though, don't correct it, it's the anti-jinx that is going to get us out of these weather doldrums.

Also Cheaps or Snowho or whatever you're going by these days keep up the positive vibes and the encouraging and hopeful info, it may not verify but it sure helps to think that there may be relief out there in the near future.

P.S. (sorry about the "Snowho" crack, I have nothing but respect and gratitude for you Cheapski )

Even the NWS is peeing in our Wheaties -

There is a sliver of hope by next weekend, according to the GFS, but
I wouldn`t place much stock in it for now. It is showing a scenario
of an inside slider dropping in through the Sierra and western
Nevada Saturday afternoon on the eastern edge of the ridge. Note
that most other simulations, such as the ECMWF, maintain the ridge
across the West. -Edan
