Snow level looks a little high for Placerville, but Grass Valley is having a snow day;

^ Not to sound ungrateful for any snow we receive this winter, but I remember when we used to get this excited about 5 FEET! :o :lol:

Looks like it's snowing again. :)

And SL you're right, but at this point every 5" helps. Maybe in a few days we will be celebrating several feet of snow, but I'm not counting those chickens just yet.

Up with the crows this morning watching the sun peek through the clouds to the south. Got a few more inches in our 'hood and MMSA says they picked up 6-8" since yesterday. Still flurrying lightly in town.

Ask and you shall receive:

"Simulations have been in impeccable agreement over the past 5 days
with dropping a deep and cold low pressure system just off the pac
northwest coast.
Storm totals: snow amounts for Thursday-Friday-Saturday will be
around 3 to 5 feet in the High Sierra above 7000 fee
t, with a couple
feet of snow around the 6000 ft elevation, including Lake Tahoe".

Weather and snow were great this morning. (Photos over on the snow conditions winter 17/18 thread). Nice to get out for some turns before the BIG storm moves in! :)
