The GFS is pretty exciting. Its because the storms are able to ride up and over and plunge down from Alaska.

Just had a brief one minute rain shower in Downey. Not even enough to wet the ground, but oh it smells so good.
Nice cool winter breeze with scattered clouds, beautiful out right now.

Just had a nice shower, almost rain right at dusk in Huntington Beach. It was snowing in Beaumont about a half hour ago. Elevation of 2200'. ^ Did you mean Beaumont?
