Cheapski, too bad you're not on FB. You should see the magnificent photos on the Yosemite NP FB page of the flooding and raging falls!

It stopped raining in town around 1:00 and the sun tried to come out around 4:30, but then it got gray again. Wonder what the conditions on the hill will be like in the morning?

I think our furry visitor has returned to under our back deck tonight. Before it got dark I saw fresh paw prints in the muddy mess it dug up to get under there last night! :o (And, yes, PC...we have had a bear under our deck one other time, but it was just for one night.)

Looks like the qpf over the next 10 days has been reduced to maybe 1/2" total. The models often struggle this time of year though so maybe it'll increase again.

Sunday's GFS was really invested on a cold cutoff low for Thursday the 19th that could be a decent snow producer.

Qpf for this storm is showing about 3/4" now. NWS says 3-5" but that could be low if the qpf verifies it could be higher.

Next little one moving down the coast. Looks like snow levels are around 6,500 ft up by Chico.

Here and gone, but still very windy. MM picked up 3-4". Looks like the wind gauge at the summit is broken again.
