Its snowink.

MAY I point out, the GFS has been doing really well this Winter on its long range.

Winter just seems to be late in the West this year. This is for May 13.

I wonder if the birds know? Usually the Golden Crowned Sparrows are long gone by this time but they're still in the yard.

In the Fall yes but ever since January the GFS has been pretty good. Look back on the wx threads.

It's the Daylight Savings BS, which incidentally I've been boycotting -- let them argue about the time...

^ OK, I'll bite - how do you boycott Daylight Saving time?

When pressed, most people prefer "springing forward" - it gives you more daylight to work with at the end of the day. It's the falling back to non-DST that is the problem, and then only because it is jarring having to make the adjustment twice a year.

Suffice it to say that the party doesn't start until I arrive.

For the average reader wanting to dip their toes in, begin by boycotting leap years. The worst that could happen there is you wind up paying your taxes one day too early...

Move to Arizona?

That’s what we’re doing, but only temporarily and not by choice.

Goodbye ML and Eastern Sierra for a while. 😭😩

Btw...Sonora Pass is now open!
CORRECTION: Tioga Road to the east entrance of Yosemite NP opens Friday, 5/4/18 at 8:00 a.m. Crews are still doing rock and debris removal on the pass so no word yet on opening it up to the valley floor yet.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear this. Will you be keeping your condo or renting it out?

Keeping it, no rentals.

I'm sorry to hear this too! Hope you are able to return sooner rather than later!

Best wishes
